How to increase your social media recruiting conversion from 0.3% to 14%
Let’s be honest: Most social recruiting campaigns out there are published in a rush, with not the right resources behind it and the results you are getting can be quite frustrating. Especially when looking at the number of applications coming in. You run ads on Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook or Tiktok, the click rates usually look fantastic, but at the end of the day, not a single qualified application lands in your ATS.
I´ve been there! And I faced exactly this problem during a recent client project. The budget was around €5k to €7k per campaign—standard job pushes with video teasers and solid copy. The impressions were there, conversion tracking was live, and even by constantly tweaking the visuals and copy. The result? Frustrating. The application conversion rate was stuck at nearly 0% for some campaigns.

3. Why this works (and what I learned along the way)
Micro commitments
This is basic psychology. Every question answered builds momentum. Once a candidate has invested time in 5 questions, they are significantly more likely to finish the process.
Data quality
Believe it or not, the answers in a flow are often more structured and easier to evaluate than a three-page resume.
Mobile first is not a buzzword
A flow is thumb-operated. A PDF upload on a smartphone is a UX nightmare.
